Facial reflexology for your wellbeing

I've just returned from a few days in London, training in Advanced Facial Reflexology at the London School of Reflexology. I'm delighted to now be able to offer fabulous facial reflexology to my clients!

Facial reflexology combines the healing and restorative powers of traditional reflexology, with the deep relaxation and benefits of a face massage, and is a beautifying treat too! The experience is super relaxing and provides a deep sense of inner lightness and calm – some clients even fall asleep!

Facial reflexology works on the same principle as foot reflexology, providing the same level of deep relaxation, healing and restoration. As well as supporting your whole body, facial reflexology can help with specific issues which relate directly to the face including:

  • jaw tension
  • teeth grinding
  • headaches and migraines
  • sinusitis
  • nerve and muscle conditions, for example Bell's palsy

Facial reflexology has the unique additional benefits of releasing tension and negative emotions which are held in the face, relaxing the facial muscles and giving your complexion a more radiant glow. It increases circulation and lymph flow in the face, and naturally stimulates collagen and elastin production.

I trained in the Bergman Method of Advanced Facial Reflexology with Ziggie Bergman. Ziggie is a pioneer in modern facial reflexology, and is the winner of the Association of Reflexologists' Award for Excellence and Innovation in Modern Facial Reflexology.

If you've come for a reflexology treatment in the last few months you may have noticed that I’ve been barefoot. I try to go footwear-free as much as I can these days – always at home/in the garden/at the beach...
