Foot reflexology

Foot reflexology is my most popular treatment. As well as being a deeply relaxing experience, foot reflexology feels therapeutic as I work the reflex points deeply – you may feel like knots are being worked out in the soles of your feet. The pressure I apply to your feet is firm and systematic, it's not at all ticklish! Foot reflexology can be a powerful treatment and clients often report feeling sensations in their body as I work the corresponding reflex points, as well as positive shifts in how they feel mentally and emotionally. Foot reflexology is also a beneficial treatment if you're on your feet all day, as it releases tightness and tension, promotes good circulation and also feels great!

Facial reflexology

Facial reflexology works along the same principles as foot reflexology, where pressure is applied to specific reflex points, muscles, skin and fascia on your face, scalp and head, albeit it in a more gentle way. My clients often say that the stress they’ve been holding in their face looks and feels like it has melted away. Clients also tell me that it is a very meditative treatment – you really can zone out during facial reflexology! Facial reflexology can also help with face, head and neck issues such as jaw tension, teeth grinding, headaches, sinus congestion, ear problems and Bell's palsy. Each treatment promotes healthy blood flow and lymphatic drainage, relaxes the facial muscles, and naturally stimulates collagen and elastin production. All of this means that your face and skin will often look softer, less puffy and more radiant.

Hand reflexology

Although I don’t provide stand-alone hand reflexology treatments, I do incorporate it into longer sessions. Hand reflexology works in the same way as foot and facial reflexology, with reflex points on the hands corresponding to different parts of the body. Hand reflexology can also help you maintain manual dexterity and rejuvenate tired hands, wrists and arms, so it’s a brilliant therapy if you use your hands a lot for your work, or are looking for relief from conditions such as arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and RSI.

Indian head massage

In longer treatments, I also offer Indian head massage (IHM) which takes your relaxation to another level! Rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, IHM is a treatment that focuses on massaging acupressure points along your head, neck and shoulders. I use a variety of IHM techniques – including deep kneading, compression, circular massage and gentle stroking of pressure points – to relax your whole body.
